Satan's Tricks

Satan's tricks . . .

At the time of this blog, Israel is launching missile strikes into Lebanon in response to the capture of Israeli soldiers and missile attacks of Haifa, in northern Israel. What is currently happening in the Middle East, while a tragedy, is no surprise to me, and should not be a surprise to anyone else in the world who understands anything about the world.

Modern history shows us that the U.N. regulary supports terrorism by refusing to condemn it, and that the nation of Israel is subject to a scrutiny unlike any other nation on the face of the earth. There is one reason and one reason alone that Israel is the subject of constant attack. The reason is simply this: As long as Israel exists, and as long as the Jewish people exist in Israel, it is the strongest evidence that the Bible is true, that there is a God, and that there is no excuse to not believe it. The existence of Israel as a thriving democracy in the midst of the squalor and poverty that has resulted from Islamic rule is a further slap in the face to extremist Islam, and is further proof that God has not abandoned his people in favor of another, as the Muslims claim, but that Israel is still his chosen people.

IT is also intersting how Satan has only so many tricks up his sleeve. Throughout history, there have been several attempts to wipe out the Jewish people. The best known of these include the captivity in Egypt, the Roman expulsion, Hitler's "final solution", Arafat's redrawn map of Israel with the intent of taking it all and destroying the Jewish inhiabitants.

The president of Iran now tells the world that the holocaust never occured, and that he has plans to create his own destruction of the Jewish people and eliminate them from the face of the earth. So why are we surprised when Hezbollah militants, supplied by Iran, attack Israel?
